Women's Ministries


Our mission is to connect people to Christ and to one another. Our goal is to welcome women of all ages and in all stages of their lives to assist them in becoming fully developing followers of Jesus Christ and to better equip them to serve their families, to enrich their church and to reach their community.

F.L. Houston said, "We all have the extraordinary coded within us, waiting to be released." In Proverbs 31:10, we are reminded of our "extraordinary" value that is far above rubies and pearls.

Let's treat ourselves with the best of fare by becoming a part of the biblical community. Check out the Bible studies, projected ministries and small groups. Sunday Evenings 5:00 PM
Discipler’s 13 week study on Book of Hebrews
Led by Lisa and Tammy. This group meets in the choir room behind the worship center stage.

Sunday Evenings 7-8:30 PM
Discipler’s 13 week study on Book of Hebrews
Led by Rene’ and Sandy.
This group meets in Room 205 (WC)beside the Loft.

Monday Evenings 6:30-7:30 PM
The Book of Hebrews. Taught by Joanne. Meets in the Atrium.

Tuesday Morning 8:30-10:15 AM
Discipler’s 13 week study on the Book of Hebrews
Led by Jean and Sandy. Meets at 1307 Tudor Ct.

Tuesdays at noon- 1 PM
Discipler’s 13 week study of the Book of Hebrews
Led by Claressa.
Meets at Mayberry West, 3243 S. Church Street, Burlington.

Tuesday Evenings 6:30-7:45 PM

Meets in the parlor. Childcare provided (No reservation required for childcare).

Thursday Mornings 6-7:30 AM
Beth Moore’s 10 week study “Breaking Free” led by Terry, meets in the parlor. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact Terry (584-8983, ext. 17).


Studies To Look For In The Winter & Spring:
  • A 6-week study on the Book of James begins week of January 21st.

  • An 8-week study on the Book of Galatians begins the week of March 11th.
 
Women’s Circles

The Barnabas Group of Encouragers
A group of encouragers who meet monthly to support and equip one another as they seek to join God in living out His purpose for their lives. To become a part of this life-changing group, contact Ann (584-8983, ext. 26) .
 

First Place
A Biblically Based Weight Loss Program. Meets Mondays at 7:00 PM in the Chapel. Study Books - $18.00. Optional Kits - $75.00. Both are available at the class.

God’s Handiwork
For information on ways you can use your creativity to make special surprises for newborn babies, contact Beth.

New Mom’s Ministry
If you are expecting a new life, please contact us. We want to help celebrate your new miracle with encouragement and meals. Contact Donna to register.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
MOPS meets the first Thursday of the month September - May at 6:30 PM in the Atrium.
